The 0.45L container was the original and first Sharpsafe Exchange container in the needle exchange range and is favoured by many injecting drug users.
The 0.45L allows easy disposal of syringes up to 5ml and a non return feature ensures sharps cannot be removed once inserted. The design of the 0.45L is such that other items of drug related litter such as spoons, etc can also be disposed of.
